According to Sky Sport Italia, they are also on the verge of securing Real Betis centre-back Pezzella.

This too would be a loan with option to buy for around €10m.

Several other clubs had been linked with the Argentine, most notably Inter.

Pezzella left River Plate for Betis in the summer of 2015 for €2.25m.

Fiorentina have also agreed terms with Genoa for striker Giovanni Simeone at €15m plus €3m bonuses.
