Christian Vieri is considering making a comeback and could join Rio State Championship side Boavista, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 37-year-old striker is currently in Brazil holding talks with Joao Paulo Magalhaes, the son of Boavista's President Jose Luiz Lins de Filho.

Vieri had already spoken about playing for Boavista in November last year only for the deal never to really get off the ground.

However, his desire to play again is so strong that his relationship with Joao Paulo Magalhaes has been resurrected.

La Gazzetta understands that Vieri will work on his fitness at Boavista before moving to Brazilian Second Division side Duque de Caxias who Magalhaes also owns.

If everything works out, Boavista will become the 13th club Vieri has played for in his illustrious if nomadic career.
