However, it is also suggested by RMC that Nice are offering another year at the Allianz Riviera stadium and the arrival of Vieira could change the situation.
Vieira is currently the manager of MLS club NYCFC, but has been heavily linked with the Nice bench.
It would be a reunion, as Vieira was teammates with Balotelli at Inter from 2006 to 2010.
