Hellas Verona midfielder Martin Hongla is making a real impression in the Africa Cup of Nations with three assists in as many games taking Cameroon to the semi-finals.
The 23-year-old now has 12 senior caps for his country and provided four assists in his last four competitive games.
That includes an assist in each of his three appearances for Cameroon in the Africa Cup of Nations.
His cross found Karl Toko Ekambi to complete a brace in today’s 2-0 quarter-final victory against the Gambia.
🌟Karl Toko Ekambi is the second highest scorer at the tournament with five goals – one behind team-mate Vincent Aboubakar’s six.

The two players close to Hongla when he was about to cross should never been allowed near a football pitch ever again. Literally standing there watching him, instead of even making the slightest effort to close him down. So lazy. Brilliant header though.
