Milan target Divock Origi has been release by Liverpool, the Premier League side have confirmed.
The Belgium international had become a cult hero at Anfield with crucial goals in the Champions League semi-finals and final as well important, late winners such as in a Merseyside derby against Everton.
Liverpool put out a host of tweets paying tribute to Origi, who is expected to complete a move to Milan in this transfer window with reports suggesting a medical had been lined up for the beginning of June.
