Federico Dimarco has written his name in the history books with the 1,500th goal in Italy’s history.

The Inter wing-back put in a strong performance in Budapest during the Nations League clash with Hungary.

He was also at the ready to score the goal for 2-0, meeting a Bryan Cristante pull-back at the far post from close range.

It was an historic goal, the 1,500th scored by the Azzurri in their time on the football field.

This was also the first time that Dimarco was on the scoresheet for the Nazionale on his sixth senior cap.
