Watch as Nicolò Barella scores a truly historic goal both in his own career and for Inter in the Champions League quarter-final against Benfica.

The pint-sized midfielder rose to nod in the Alessandro Bastoni cross at the Estadio da Luz.

This goal made history for several reasons, as it was the first headed goal Barella has scored in the Inter jersey in all competition.

It was also the first goal from open play scored by Inter in Lisbon at the fifth visit, as the only previous strike was Sandro Mazzola’s penalty in 1967.
