Arturo Vidal has assured fans that he has no intention of leaving Juventus at the end of the season.

The Chilean, signed for €10.5m in the summer of 2011, has been paired with clubs such as Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

“I’m calm about my future,” he said after scoring the penalty which assured Juve a 1-0 win over Milan on Sunday.

“I’m happy here, I’m proud to wear this shirt and I want to continue like this.”

Juventus are now within touching distance of retaining the championship, but the midfielder insists the side still have work to do.

“We need four points so we just have to keep going,” added the former Bayer Leverkusen man.

“Next Sunday we’ve got the derby against Torino and we have to prepare well for it. Winning the next two games would wrap up the title.

“It was a difficult match for us against Milan,” the 25-year-old added. “They are a good team and it’s never easy for us to play against them.

“It wasn’t a great match but we won and that’s what counts.”
