FIFA have allowed Arturo Vidal to play for Juventus this weekend against Livorno, after missing matches for Chile.

The midfielder pulled out of his national team’s squad for friendlies against England and Brazil last week.

And after flying back to Turin to have treatment whilst he should have been on international duty, the Bianconeri have had to clear the 26-year-old's participation with the governing body.

There is a ‘five-day rule’ within the FIFA mandate that states that a player cannot play a competitive game for his club if he’s been sent home from an international call-up.

Luckily for Antonio Conte’s men though, FIFA have given Vidal the all-clear.
