Vialli was part of the last Juve team that won the Champions League back in 1996, but the former Italy striker believes the Bianconeri will eventually repeat that success “sooner or later”.
“Juventus deserve huge credit and, sooner or later, will lift the trophy, maybe in a season when there’s less expectation or with a bit more luck,” he told La Reppublica.

“I believe in the law of mental attraction: when you really want something, sooner or later, it draws itself towards you. Cardiff was a huge, unexpected blow.
“The Bianconeri’s transfer window was apparently low in profile, but I think they bought what they needed.
“Barcelona? Juventus could lose but then qualify as early the fourth matchday. This phase almost doesn’t count for anything.
“Neymar took them aback and they reacted with their gut, overpaying for Dembele, but they remain a top team.”
