The Hellas Verona injury crisis is intensifying ahead of this weekend’s game with Milan, as Jacopo Sala and Gustavo Campanharo pulled up.
Both players interrupted this afternoon’s training session, as Sala had a muscular problem and Campanharo felt pain in his right knee.
They will undergo tests over the next couple of days, but it’s a race to see if they’ll be fit for the Serie A clash with Milan.
Lazaros Christodoulopoulos and Mounir Obbadi did not take part in training either, as they are still recovering from injury.
There was at least some good news for Verona, as the local authorities accepted a request to expand the Stadio Bentegodi capacity by an extra 3,763 seats for Sunday’s game.
