The clash between the two sides was suspended because of the rapid movement of the disease around certain parts of Italy in the last several days.

All sporting activities in the Lombardy and Veneto regions were cancelled by the Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora late last night.

Four games were cancelled, including Verona’s game against Cagliari.

However the same outlet also states that it is indeed only a slight chance, as it would prove to be an organisational headache to rearrange the match in such a short period of time.
