The Aquile president blamed Roma's sporting director and the Argentine for Coach Marcelo Bielsa's decision to turn his back on the club at the last minute.
The Giallorossi president James Pallotta already dismissed Lotito's claims, and Veron promptly followed suit.
“I haven't seen or spoken with Bielsa in 10 years,” he told Il Messaggero. “But I know he's a man who cares about people keeping their word more than about a signed piece of paper.
“These are all lies, made up to defer responsibility. I could never damage Lazio. In fact I'd like to help them, but it's not possible. Their management alienates people.”
Veron's statements come in the wake of bitter protests by the Biancocelesti fans against Lotito.
“When you don't know how to handle situations, it's tough to attract characters who allow for a leap up in quality. You can't build anything if you have no passion, love, and loyalty to your colours.
“People see and know that very well. Unfortunately there's none of that at Lazio today.
“I am the president of Estudiantes, I have no bond with the Argentinian federation. How could I have told Bielsa to Coach the national team?”
