“If my departure and the change of management was enough to change our fortunes, then I'd go. I would be the first to transfer my place to the stands with the other supporters, waving my Bari flag.
“I don't believe that is the real problem. At this moment we need to score goals and get out of this situation.”
Bari are propping up the Serie A table and already nine points adrift of the safety zone.
“There are reasons why we're in this situation. We lost seven or eight important players due to injury for many months. Now we're playing with an interminable series of negative results behind us and that is not easy.
“The gap is really just three games, so if we can resolve our goal-scoring problems, then we will have a chance of staying in Serie A.”
