Giampiero Ventura insists Torino are the underdogs against Club Brugge in the Europa League tomorrow.

“Brugge are, and I don’t say that because we are here today, the strongest team in the group,” said Coach Ventura in his Press conference.

The other sides in Group B are FC Copenhagen and Helsinki.

Torino return to Europe after two decades and Ventura makes his first foray into the continental realm.

“Am I moved at reaching Europe? No, I am gratified. The pleasure is that I got here with a group of great lads and none of them probably thought they’d make it here.

“Having said that, Europe is not a finish line for us, but a starting point. We built a young squad and it needs experience to mature.”
