Reports suggest Fiorentina midfielder Matias Vecino will take his Inter medical on Tuesday.

The Uruguayan has a €24m release clause in his contract, and Viola Coach Stefano Pioli appeared to confirm earlier today that he’d be making the move to San Siro.

“[Inter] already had a strong team,” Pioli said. “Vecino, for example, is a great signing. He’s worth the same as [Blaise] Matuidi and he’s a complete midfielder."

Now Tuttomercatoweb is reporting that the 25-year-old will take his medicals with the Nerazzurri on Tuesday, before officially signing.

The release clause is only valid until August 10, so any deal will have to be completed before then.
