Conte is entering the second day of hearings with prosecutors to determine if he can agree a plea bargain or not over his alleged involvement in Serie A and B’s betting scandal.
The Daily Mirror are reporting that members of Van Persie’s entourage have commented that the player, who has been regularly linked this summer with the Bianconeri after rejecting a new contract with Arsenal, is monitoring the situation ‘with interest’.
It is alleged that the 28-year-old would be reluctant to consider the Turin outfit as an option this summer, if Conte is handed a lengthy ban.
