Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero wants to end his career in Florence – “I’m very happy here”.

The Spaniard joined the Viola from Villarreal in 2012, and has become a key part of the team under first Vincenzo Montella and now Paulo Sousa.

“I want to end my career with Fiorentina,” Valero said, speaking at an event to combat drugs and alcohol.

“I’m happy here and I have a very long contract. Receiving the applause of the fans is the best thing that can happen to a footballer.
