Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati has quashed rumours regarding Andrea Belotti's future being elsewhere and claimed he has not been contacted by Inter.

Argentine 22-year-old Lautaro Martinez has been linked with a move to Barcelona this summer and could opt to leave the Giuseppe Meazza, with Belotti’s name emerging in Italian reports as Inter are preparing to start looking for his replacement.

But the new Granata sporting director Vagnati has revealed that there has been no contact with any clubs regarding the attacker.

“Belotti is an important player,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “Even if I read about the interest in the newspaper, I have not been contacted by anyone.

“Then, given the type of player, it’s obvious that there are interested clubs. But I repeat, I haven’t received any calls.”

Belotti has scored nine goals in 23 Serie A games this term and played an important role for Italy CT Roberto Mancini as the Azzurri qualified for Euro 2020 next summer.

He arrived in Turin from Palermo in August 2015 for €8.4m and the current contract at the Grande Torino expires in June 2022.
