It was reported over the weekend that the English side were looking to bring the Italian international to Old Trafford, with the Granata confirming they have received three offers.

According to Sky Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, the Red Devils have agreed a contract with the 25-year-old, who is ready to make the move.

Following talks last night, Toro have made it clear that they are asking for €20m the player, but are willing to accept €18m plus €2m in bonuses. Contrary to reports in Britain, the site reports that the Premier League side have not yet matched that figure.

The Granata are therefore waiting to see if United will match their asking price, having always maintained they will not do business for less than €20m.

Di Marzio reports that Manchester United are warming to the idea of meeting that request, and will take Darmian to the Premier League if they are willing to pay.
