This idea was put forth in Italy by FIGC chief Gabriele Gravina in the earliest days of the outbreak in the country.
Such a formula hasn’t been seen in Italy in 15 years, with the last one taken place in the 2004-05 season between Parma and Bologna.
UEFA would like every league to be completed by the end of June, public health permitting.
