Udinese President Franco Soldati has opened the door to a swap deal involving Silvan Widmer and Napoli striker Leonardo Pavoletti.
Widmer’s agent confirmed the right-back would be interested in a switch to Napoli on Sunday, and Soldati believes there is scope for an exchange with Pavoletti as the Zebrette “need a striker”.
“Widmer’s liked Napoli for two years, his agent has told us that they’d be a welcome destination,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“There’s continuous dialogue with the Azzurri, we need a striker and maybe a deal can be struck.
“Zapata’s a great player and he has what it takes to play for a big, foreign club.
“Pavoletti could interest us, otherwise we’ll take on some young players.”
