“I won’t say anything about the two refereeing incidents that changed the course of the game. Samp are strong, but until the first penalty, they hadn’t really managed a shot on goal,” said director of sport Daniele Pradè.
“It’s all well and good having VAR, but it needs to be used properly. Everything seems to be going against us at the moment.
“Having said that, the performance was not up to the required standard. This is why we’ve annulled the two days off and from tomorrow the team will be working in a training retreat.”
