Udinese have confirmed that Panagiotis Kone suffered a calf injury while on international duty.
Kone scored a late winner for Greece in the last-minute of the 4-3 victory over Hungary, but suffered an injury during the match.
“Udinese Calcio announces that Panagiotis Kone, in the closing stages of Greece-Hungary on Sunday October 11, has suffered a lesion to the gastrocnemius muscle in his right leg,” a statement confirmed.
“The recovery time will be evaluated in the coming days.”
