Udinese captain Danilo will be out of action for approximately three weeks after suffering a thigh strain.
The defender went off in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat to Sampdoria.
He has now been diagnosed with a Grade I lesion to the left thigh and is expected to be on the sidelines for around three weeks.
Danilo’s condition will continue to be monitored on a daily basis.
