“Morale improves with results, but in truth we'd never lost our peace of mind. Serie A has dangers hiding behind every corner, to the point that you often don't reap the results you deserve.

“[Roberto] Inglese didn't train in the last two days, we'll see how he's feeling today. Udinese are a team that managed to find their balance and they showed that against Napoli too. It's going to be a difficult game.”

Rumours have been circulating that the Zebrette's iconic striker Antonio Di Natale will retire from the pitch to take a role within the club as a director.

“He marked the history of Udinese and he's a champion that must always be respected.

“[Cyril] Thereau has some remarkable potential, and so does [Rodrigo] Aguirre. We'll have to block their spaces.

“I hope it's going to be a good match on the whole, individual duels aside.

“Udinese's pedigree? We must be open so that we can learn in every situation, be it in the great stadium or in the little pitch of a lower category.”
