Udinese have categorically dismissed speculation that they have agreed to sell Mehdi Benatia to Paris Saint-Germain.

The defender has been paired with an imminent switch to the French club, but the Italian outfit insist he belongs to them.

"I can deny any kind of agreement with Paris SG for Benatia," sporting director Fabrizio Larini told L'Equipe.

"The French club registered an interest in him during the summer market, but we told them that he wasn't for sale.

"He won't be joining them in January either…"

Benatia, a Moroccan international, was netted by the Italians in 2010 from French Ligue 2 side Clermont.
