Igor Tudor fully admits Udinese were responsible for “overall just a bad performance” in the 1-0 home defeat to Brescia.

Romulo scored the only goal with a deflected strike from outside the penalty area at the Dacia Arena, sending the Friulani to their third consecutive defeat.

“It was an ugly performance, a bad home defeat. Brescia were well-organised, we struggled to create chances, to build the play from the back and then we gifted them chances too,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“It’s not because De Paul was missing, we simply made too many mistakes all over the park. There were some attacks three-against-three and we made the wrong choices. We didn’t work down the flanks either.

“Overall, it was just a bad performance, so we have to put it behind us straight away and move on. I try to give solutions to reach the final third, then the quality of the players makes the difference there. Sometimes it goes well, others not, but we really struggled today and couldn’t make the difference.

“Brescia had some good counter-attacks to make it difficult for us. We have another game coming up on Tuesday with Verona, so we have to turn the page and start again.”
