Igor Tudor maintains it was “a game of two halves” between Verona and Udinese, so the 0-0 draw was the correct result.

“We did well in the first half, they did better in the second. I am happy, it was an unusual game against my good friend Ivan Juric, so I’m content with that,” the Udinese Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

Some of his decisions were surprising, such as starting Antonin Barak in the trequartista role.

“I wanted a bit more movement to make life difficult for the Verona defence. In general, I do feel we had the better of the first half and the second wasn’t as good, so a draw is fair.

“We look to the future with optimism.”
