The Friulani know they will at least be two points clear of the drop zone, even if Empoli beat Fiorentina on Sunday, after this Dacia Arena stalemate.

“Playing against a side like Inter will inevitably make you suffer and we could’ve hurt them in a few situations, but it’s not easy to play against them. It’s a really great point and gives us confidence for the future,” the Coach told DAZN.

Both sides had penalty appeals, Udinese for a Marcelo Brozovic shove on Rolando Mandragora in the first half and Inter for Sebastian De Maio clipping Mauro Icardi’s heel after the break.

“I’d say the push was a 50-50 situation, you can give it or not. The referee waved play on, that’s fine,” noted Tudor.

“We started playing a 3-4-3 formation, then I moved to 3-5-2, as we were struggling with Inter’s passing game. We are having difficulty scoring at the moment, but hope to break that drought and look to the next three games with optimism.

“Marvin Zeegelaar is getting stronger with every match and won several fast-paced duels with the Inter players. He can defend, cross and I hope this performance will give him more confidence to keep improving.”
