Palermo have yet again insisted that they have no interest in River Plate centre-forward David Trezeguet.

The former Juventus hitman has been paired with the Sicilian giants in recent weeks, but President Maurizio Zamparini has looked to silence the speculation.

“Trezeguet is not coming here,” Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia. “There is no attacker over the age of 30 who I have brought to this club.”

Trezeguet, now 35, is looking for a return to Europe after joining the Argentine outfit in January 2012.

The former French international spent 11 years with the Old Lady in Serie A.
