The former French international, who spent some time growing up in Argentina, flew into Buenos Aires last Thursday for talks.

He has since agreed personal terms with the Second Division outfit and has successfully come through a series of medicals.

He’ll be officially unveiled to fans and media at a presentation at the Monumental Stadium on January 4, 2012.

Trezeguet spent a decade with Juventus, following his 2000 move from Monaco, where he became the Old Lady’s most prolific foreign scorer of all time.

Having left Turin in 2010, he’s since had spells with Spanish club Hercules and UAE outfit Baniyas where he rescinded his contract in November.
