Trabzonspor are reportedly keen on the idea of picking up Andrea Belotti this summer but are not interested in paying up for the Roma striker.

The 29-year-old Italian striker joined the Giallorossi last summer on a free transfer, signing a one-year deal with an option for a further two years, which the club activated recently.

Belotti struggled to stand out in his debut season with Roma, scoring just four goals and providing two assists across 46 appearances in all competitions, seeing 1999 minutes of action.

As reported by Calciomercato.it, Trabzonspor want to sign Belotti this summer but are not interested in paying for him, so are hoping Roma will agree to release him on a free transfer.

There is also no guarantee that the Italian striker would accept the move, seeming overjoyed after his contract extension was confirmed, calling it a “great feeling”.

Belotti will be important to Roma next season, as English striker Tammy Abraham could be sidelined until February or March due to a cruciate ligament injury.
