Torino President Urbano Cairo hinted at interest in Genoa striker Mauricio Pinilla and Cesena’s Gregoire Defrel.
“We know exactly what we need to do, how to do it and when to do it,” said Cairo.
“As soon as we are ready, we will make some announcements. We have some ideas that are not just for right now, but also for the future.

“We had to sell Cerci on the last day of the market and replaced him with Amauri, who is proving to have a lot of determination, but we want a younger player to add potential going forward too.”
Torino have been heavily linked with a bid for Genoa forward Pinilla, who finds himself on the bench in favour of Alessandro Matri.
Another option is Cesena trequartista Defrel, who has made a good impact on Serie A.
“Pinilla is a possibility, but there are others too. We certainly can’t say there is a deal in place,” added Cairo.
