“There is the desire to not touch a team that is functioning,” the President commented to Tuttosport. “The objective is to add a few players without expecting too much.

“Alessio Cerci and Ciro Immobile? Nobody has asked me for any of my players up to this point in time.

“Having a team that scores so many goals is very pleasing.”

The Granata have netted 30 League goals so far, with Cerci grabbing nine and Immobile eight.

Cairo added that he soon intends to extend the contracts of boss Giampiero Ventura and sporting director Gianluca Petrachi.
