It's an important reinforcement for the Granata, whose President Urbano Cairo has been criticised by fans for the club's inactivity on the transfer market.
Sassuolo announced the news on their website last night, wishing the player “good luck for his new adventure in Serie A.”
Sansone is a 25-year-old attacker who has turned out for Gallipoli, Lanciano and Frosinone in the past.
