Torino have announced that one of their players tested positive for Covid-19 ahead of today's clash against Cagliari.

“Torino Football Club announce that the tests carried out ahead to the competition as part of the checks provided by the protocol showed that a first-team player has tested positive for Covid-19,” the official announcement reads.

“The subject, completely asymptomatic, has already been placed into isolation.”

“Torino FC will continue to follow the procedures provided by the health protocols. This will allow all the negative subjects to perform regular training and match activities.”

Torino had already registered two Covid cases earlier this week. Today the Granata will face Cagliari at home at 2pm UK time.
