Verona striker Luca Toni has reportedly signed a contract to become a club director after his retirement in the summer.

The veteran forward announced recently that he would be quitting football aged 39 at the end of the season.

However, Tuttosport writes today that the former Italy international has already signed a two-year deal worth €500,000 to stay on at the Bentegodi in a backroom role.
