Luca Toni insists that a win against Napoli would be the perfect preparation for Genoa's upcoming derby with Sampdoria.
The 33-year-old striker is looking forward to his first match against Sampdoria, but before that he has to deal with high-fliers Napoli who currently lie joint third in Serie A.
"We have to play a big game against Napoli," he said. "That way we'll go into the derby on a high.
"It will be a beautiful battle with Giampaolo Pazzini for 90 minutes."

Asked if Genoa have an advantage given Antonio Cassano won't be playing, Toni said: "Sampdoria are reacting well to this defection. They are getting good results because there is team spirit.
"I am sorry that a champion like Antonio is on the margins. I hope he can find a team."
Finally, Toni responded to claims that Milan are interested in signing him in January.
"Milan have great strikers," he explained. "I am staying at Genoa."
