Three men are in contention to take the Parma bench if the club opt to sack the struggling Pasquale Marino.

The latter's job is on the line after a poor run of form which has seen them collect just one win from their last eight games – netting just five points from a possible 24 in the process.

Parma, who salvaged a late draw against Cesena yesterday, are just four points clear of the drop zone and the axe seems to be sharpening for Marino.

Should he be replaced then Walter Zenga is still widely seen as a possible candidate after his spells in Serie A with Catania and Palermo.

Franco Colomba, who recently missed out on the Bari job, is a possible target too after he was dismissed by Bologna before the season started.

Former Perugia maestro Serse Cosmi is being linked with the Stadio Tardini outfit as well after he quit at Livorno in January 2010.
