“Not yet, but I can say that the awareness of football players and sportsmen in general towards issues related to ecology is growing,” the Norwegian midfielder told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Not yet, but I can say that the awareness of football players and sportsmen in general towards issues related to ecology is growing,” the Norwegian midfielder told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“In the coming years we must become ambassadors of the environment,” he added.
“I would like to meet Pope Francis. He would be a perfect messenger to convey to people this message related to ecology, which depends directly on our education.
“We need nature, these concepts must not only be learned, but also be understood so that we all become aware of the problem.”
Thorsby joined Sampdoria in 2019 but has only begun to play on a regular basis under Claudio Ranieri.
“I knew that the first year in Italy would be difficult, Serie A is a different kind of football. I am a positive person and I’ve always felt confidence around me.
“I thought sooner or later your moment would arrive and that's what happened. My football has improved, but I certainly haven’t finished my path yet.
“Today’s group has been playing together for over a year. Not only, we know Ranieri better, we know what he wants from us.
“Besides, it’s true, there are strong players in multiple roles. The beginning of the championship shows that we are working well together and there is harmony between us.
“We all know that Ranieri is a great coach, I am happy with him because he is a nice person. Here he did a great job and there are all the conditions to make a good season.”
