Heerenveen midfielder Morten Thorsby is in Genoa for a medical, ahead of a proposed summer move to Sampdoria.
The 22-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, so he’s free to negotiate with other clubs from this month.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Thorsby has been in Italy since yesterday, and is taking his medicals with the Blucerchiati.
Samp have already agreed a five-year contract with the player, who will arrive on a free transfer in July unless there are any last-minute hitches.
