The Argentinian has been a target of the Nerazzurri for months now, although they will have to compete with the likes of Barcelona to secure him.

Ahead of tonight's 7:00p.m. friendly against PSG, Coach Roberto Mancini stated in his Press conference that he would discuss the possible transfer of Lavezzi with Coach Laurent Blanc, who said he was ready.

The landing of President Thohir in Doha, where the game will be played, leads La Gazzetta dello Sport to speculate that he may join in the discussion.

PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is also tipped to fly back to his homeland for the match, where he may meet with Thohir.

While there is nothing official as of yet, this is a strong opportunity for the Nerazzurri representatives to outline an offer for Lavezzi, who is expected to leave in the summer.

In the meantime, Lavezzi was called by a supporter at the airport, who yelled: “Come to Inter and we'll win the Scudetto!”
