The Nerazzurri made a disastrous start to the campaign and were hovering just above the relegation zone for some weeks.

However, a run of five wins in their last six League games has seen them get up to fifth in the Serie A standings.
“It would be some achievement if Inter finish the campaign in third place,” 1982 World Cup winner Oriali told Mediaset.
“But if that happens then I would then ask why it took them so long to hire Claudio Ranieri as their new Coach…
“However, getting to third won’t be easy. Inter’s problem is that the teams ahead of them are having great seasons so far.”
Milan, Juventus, Udinese and Lazio are currently higher up the ladder than Inter at this stage of the proceedings – the capital outfit, their closest rival, are six points in front.
Ranieri was hired by the San Siro giants in September after Gian Piero Gasperini was sacked just months following his arrival.
