Spezia coach Thiago Motta played for Jose Mourinho at Inter and revealed the Portuguese tactician ‘is an inspiration’ ahead of the match at the Olimpico tonight.
The Aquilotti are hoping to pick up points in the Italian capital, when Thiago Motta and Mourinho clash in the last match of Serie A Week 17.
The former midfielder knows Mourinho well from their time at Inter together and spoke well of his former coach.
“Mourinho is an inspiration,” Motta told DAZN. “But not just for me. He should be for everyone.
“I remember a Champions League match in which we played a poor first half and he was angry. He lived every moment with the team, the good emotions and the less good.”
