According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna coach Thiago Motta argued with Marko Arnautovic during a training session on Wednesday morning.

The former Italy international is said to be unhappy with the striker’s attitude, which led to an on-field argument during a training session at Casteldebole on Wednesday.

La Gazzetta claims the argument ‘didn’t last long’ and that the pair have cleared the air now.

Arnautovic is suspended for Saturday’s game against Sampdoria because of a yellow card – his fifth this season – collected against Monza last week.

Motta spoke to the media on Thursday and said he is not sure the Austria international would start next week against Inter at the Stadio Dall’Ara.

“He is not available against Samp, so he will have more time to get in shape, hoping that he is available for the following match [against Inter]” said Motta.

“When he is available, I will decide if he can start.”
