Fiorentina striker Cyril Thereau is set to join Cagliari, opening the door for Marco Sau to sign for Sampdoria.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports both deals can now go through, presumably loans until the end of the season.
Thereau, who turns 36 in April, has played just twice for Fiorentina this season, while Sau is no longer a first choice in Cagliari’s attack.
