Udinese striker Cyril Thereau admits he was tempted by an offer from Olympique Marseille this summer. “It’s my home.”

The French forward was expected to make the move back to his former club.

“I had a few proposals, including within Italy. The Marseille offer was interesting because it’s my home and I am a fan of that club,” Thereau told Mediaset Premium.

“However, I had always said I was ready to remain. The President reassured me, said good things and I had the response from the club that I was looking for.
