Milan know that two new forwards are needed in the upcoming summer transfer window and two players they’ve been linked with are Gianluca Scamacca and Amine Gouiri.

The Rossoneri, barring unforeseen circumstances, will be signing Divock Origi on a free transfer in the summer, after his contract expires with Liverpool. The doubts about Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the departure of Marko Lazetic mean that the Milanese side are also preparing to pick up another forward, preferably a traditional number nine.

As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan’s search parameters are clear: a young, experienced and talented forward who’ll fit Stefano Pioli’s system. These parameters has led them to consider Gianluca Scamacca, but they’re not planning to sign the Sassuolo froward this summer.

The talented Italian is appreciated by the Rossoneri but they know that his €40m price tag is out of reach for this summer.

Reports from France have also linked Milan with Amine Gouiri, a 22-year-old impressing with Nice this season. The Frenchman has scored 10 goals and provided seven assists in 30 Ligue 1 appearances this campaign, attracting the attention of Borussia Dortmund. Milan, however, are not seriously keen and are still evaluating a number of options.
