“Has it really been that long? I didn’t realise that,” the forward noted on Monday. “I hope to end that run tomorrow.”
The Juventus Stadium tie will be of vital importance to the Italian club given that they have only collected two draws – against Copenhagen and Galatasaray – and a defeat to Real from their three games so far.
“I’m hoping it will be a great game, but we want to win it. The three matches that we have left are all Finals – and that includes tomorrow’s.
“I don’t think it will be an easy game for Real. The atmosphere will be beautiful, but it will be us players who step out on to the pitch and not the fans – even if they will support us for 90 minutes.”
Iker Casillas is likely to return to the Real goal given that boss Carlo Ancelotti uses him in Europe and Diego Lopez in La Liga.
“That is a decision for Ancelotti. It makes no difference to me and I’m not concerned about it in the slightest. Casillas is certainly a more important player than Lopez, but it changes nothing.”
